For the first time ever, the Easter Festival is bringing together Juan Diego Flórez and Lisette Oropesa, two incandescent singers at the top of their game, alongside the Orchestre de l'Opéra de Lyon.
Ever since his debut at La Scala in 1996, the Peruvian tenor has shone on stages all over the world. Music fans and critics thrill to his “clear, brilliant, agile and high voice” (Le Figaro), and recognise it on the first note of Rossini, Donizetti and Massenet. In 2018, the American soprano conquered Paris in Meyerbeer's Les Huguenots and did the same at the Met and at Covent Garden, thanks to her “her sense of style, her magnificently pure voice, her vocal agility and her stratospheric high notes” (Resmusica). A concert that is sure to be dazzling !
